Start with zones, not containers

The prettiest pantries always begin the same way: with zones. Before a single bin is purchased, empty the shelves and group everything by how your family actually reaches for it — breakfast, baking, snacks, dinner staples, overflow.

Zones do the heavy lifting. Containers simply make the zones look beautiful and keep them honest over time.

Decant what you use daily

Decanting is not about perfection. Choose five to eight items you reach for most — pasta, rice, cereal, flour, sugar — and give those glass or acrylic homes. Leave the rest in their packaging inside a labelled bin.

This is the ratio that keeps a pantry looking styled while still being livable on a Tuesday night.

Label with intention

A simple serif label in charcoal on warm white reads as luxurious and, more importantly, tells everyone in the house where things belong. Labels are the difference between a pantry that lasts a week and one that lasts a year.
