Work around the plumbing
Rather than fighting the pipes, treat them as a divider. Stackable bins on either side and a tension rod for spray bottles turn an awkward cabinet into two usable zones. Reserve one side for cleaning supplies and the other for household essentials like trash bags, dishwasher tablets, or extra sponges. Shallow pull-out bins make it easy to access items tucked in the back without having to empty the entire cabinet. By designing around the plumbing instead of ignoring it, you can maximize every inch of available space while keeping everything neat and easy to find.
Consolidate your cleaners
Most homes hold three versions of the same cleaner. Combine, recycle the extras, and decant the ones you love into matching amber bottles. Not only does this reduce clutter, but it also makes it easier to see when you're running low on a product. Label every bottle clearly to avoid confusion, especially if you transfer cleaners from their original containers. Keep only the products you use regularly and choose multipurpose cleaners whenever possible to simplify your routine. A streamlined under-sink cabinet is easier to maintain, safer to navigate, and far more pleasant to open every day.
